Founding Full-Stack (Javascript) Software Engineer

Salary range – US$60,000 – US$96,000 per year + Equity 💰

Brij is a fully remote, VC-backed, US-based SaaS startup, that drives the future of connected commerce with the simple scan of a QR code or NFC tag.

We are on a mission to empower brands to build stronger relationships with their customers by connecting physical products to personalized digital experiences. Customers buy a product, scan the tag, and instantly get discounts, rewards, exclusive content, and transparency.

We seek a Lead JavaScript Full-Stack software engineer (Node + React/Angular) to join and lead our engineering efforts. You will have a unique opportunity to add extreme value by having full ownership over our product architecture and roadmap.

You will✨

• Join the core engineering team of a fully funded SaaS startup!
• Work directly with our CTO to manage and communicate with our off-shore team
• Build our in-house development team
• Architect, develop, test, and deploy products that are fast, scalable, and beautiful
• Determine optimal framework and architecture for a scalable product
• Convert Figma wireframes and existing code into robust applications
• Design and maintain large and complex databases
• Deploy applications and manage infrastructure on AWS
• Determine the right tech-stack for the projects

You’d be a great fit if you ❤️

• Have 5+ years of a commercial experience
• Are a Fullstack developer (backend centric) and highly proficient with Node and React
• Have experience building applications using typescript with clean, well-documented code
• Enjoy building teams and manage the current one
• Are a great communicator
• Are independent and self-driven
• Got good conversational and written English

Bonus points if you 🏆

• Have hands-on infrastructure & DevOps experience on AWS
• Have hands-on mobile dev experience or building hybrid apps for both iOS and Android
• Have prior experience in handling data privacy
• Experience working in a startup environment
