As a Sr. Frontend Engineer you will:
- Lead the development of UI and standards with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
- Implement new features and user interfaces for some of our projects
- Identify areas of improvement and guide best practices for UI architecture, framework utilization, and code reuse
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Backend Engineers to design and deliver high-quality functionalities
- Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
- Design durable, scalable solutions, including communicating your thought processes through written design documents and real-time reviews.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Highly proficient with React and experienced with HTML and CSS
- Are excited about using Next.js
- Understand cross-browser compatibility issues
- Have strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Have experience integrating REST APIs (pagination, sorting, caching)
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience working with Python and/or GraphQL
- Have experience building enterprise software
- Worked with a remote global or otherwise multicultural team
- Are comfortable working in a highly agile software development process
