Alright... so you’ve made it all the way down

You’re probably wondering: “yeh, it sounds great, but what the hell is Flatworld?”

In a nutshell: we help developers find fully remote roles!

What makes us amazing for developers is that instead of applying to jobs individually, you simply apply to our platform and we take care of matching you to a company and getting you hired.

That means we go out and show the companies you're the right fit for them.

We will also hold your hand through the paperwork and hiring process so all you have to do is complete our application, show up to some interviews, and lay back while we get you the job.

It really is that simple... so simple that if Linus was a remote dev looking for a job he'd be like:

“Flatworld is just incredible... I can’t even explain it”

* No, Linus didn’t say this. But he probably would...

Kalshi Cheat Sheet

Kalshi is the first CFTC regulated exchange dedicated to trading on the outcome of future events.

Kalshi was founded in 2018 by Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara, who met while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2024, Kalshi achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first fully regulated platform in over a century to offer legal election betting in the United States. This development followed a federal appeals court ruling that upheld Kalshi's right to list contracts on political outcomes, including congressional control and presidential elections.

What they are solving:

The traditional financial market lacks opportunities for people to hedge against or speculate on specific event outcomes. Kalshi, the first federally regulated exchange of its kind, offers a unique platform where anyone can trade on the outcome of events - from politics and economics to weather and more. They democratize access to financial derivatives and offer a new avenue for informed speculation and hedging.

Why you'll love working at Kalshi

The Kalshi team:

  • Is a small, dynamic group of talented individuals revolutionising the way people can speculate or hedge on specific events.
  • Has the vibrant energy of a very early-stage startup but the financial stability of a more mature company.
  • Loves problem-solving, thinking creatively, and exploring new territories in the financial world.
