Candidate Location: Prague - Czech Republic

As a Backend Developer you will:
- Join a new R&D site for the company, contributing as a senior software developer.
- Work within a dedicated team focused on developing the company’s product.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure seamless integration and development of the company's solutions.
- Participate in the development process, emphasizing backend work (90%) with some potential frontend tasks (10%, nice to have but not mandatory).
- Utilize your extensive experience with Java, Springboot, Microservices, and API development to build robust software solutions.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- 6-7+ years of solid commercial experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience with Java.
- Experience with Java for at least 5 years (Critical Must Have).
- Experience with Springboot for 3-4 years (Critical Must Have).
- Experience with Microservices for 3-4 years (Critical Must Have).
- Experience with API development for 2-3 years.
- Public cloud experience, preferably with AWS, for 2-4 years (Critical Must Have).
- Solid experience with Docker.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Bonus points if you:
- Have Knowledge or experience with React and TypeScript
- AWS experience - very nice to have
- Speak Czech: Not mandatory, but very nice to have.
Time Zone / Working Hours
This is a 2 days remotely 3 days in the office onsite role located in Prague - Czech Republic.
Our client has 1,000 people globally, and is establishing the new R&D team in Prague.
