Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am from Paraguay and am in my final semester of a computer science degree. Since 2019, I've been coding and I worked as a Backend engineer with Ruby on Rails.
What were you looking for in your next job opportunity?
I wanted to work with a team that treats each other like family, where we get to work with cutting-edge technology, and, of course, where we can earn money. Having a job that pays in dollars opens up doors that being paid in the local currency doesn't.
How did you find Flatworld?
I found Flatworld on Instagram. When I saw the listing on Instagram, I went through all of the available jobs until I found one that I liked, and then I began the process of applying for the test.
How would you describe your experience with Flatworld?
It was very interesting because Flatworld has a variety of questions and tests - which is great because it allows them to determine whether your skills and technical experience are a good fit for the job you're applying for. And if there is another role that matches your skills better than the one you applied for Flatworld works with you to determine the best position.
What makes the opportunity at Landed a great fit for you?
This position is ideal for me because I am a mid- to senior-level developer in my home country. However, on a global scale, I am regarded as a junior developer. This position at Landed offers a fantastic opportunity for advancement and technical experience. Plus, the vibes have been very positive in the last two weeks of my working with the team.
